The mission of the Princess Louise Fusiliers (PLF) is to train combat-capable infantry soldiers and leaders to augment the Regular Force. This role could include the defence of Canada and other tasks across the country and around the world. In addition to part-time service, members of the PLF have served in Afghanistan and aided the United Nations in such places as Cyprus, Bosnia, Rwanda and Haiti.
